Losing a Pet

This has to be the worst feeling in the world. Whether it is a shock or a planned trip to help them over the bridge. The physical, crushing pain you get in your chest is awful. As the days move on, does it get easier? Life carries you on, with your work, chores etc, but then you remember, your recent events. You smile, you tear up, you cry. Its ok you’re grieving.

Just recently on 17th February 2025 after giving 8 years of total unconditional love we had with our Archie unfortunately came to an end. We helped our amazing wee boy cross rainbow bridge😭😭🐾.

He was a rescue who we fostered and fell in love with. He came into Cats Protection with severe allergies, hardly any fur on his face, sore and scabbed, not litter trained and a deformed back leg. However, we soon realised he had the kindest nature. He almost seemed grateful for everything we did for him. Fly high my wee soldier. Never forgotten. Totally heartbroken 💔

Rest in Peace my wee man xxx
